It all began on February 18, 2019—a first date that almost didn’t happen if one of us hadn’t practiced a little patience (we won’t name names… but let’s just say it wasn’t TJ!).

From the moment they met, TJ felt something extraordinary. She fell head over heels almost instantly, knowing deep down that this was something rare and real. Duane—ever the careful one—took a little longer to arrive at that same place, but once he did, their love truly began to bloom.

As time passed, something even more beautiful unfolded: Duane and Liam built a bond that was nothing short of magical, growing into a father-son relationship rooted in trust, laughter, and love. And with the sweet, floppy-eared Willow rounding out the crew, they became the family they were always meant to be.
